On the path to a sustainable future: The sustainability initiatives of catworkx and the TIMETOACT GROUP
Following a series of interviews with some of our employees, we would like to present the measures that catworkx and the entire TIMETOACT GROUP have defined and are implementing.
This is because organisations have a special responsibility when it comes to sustainability as a balance between people, the planet and profit. When it comes to harmonising these areas, the implementation of ESG (environmental, social and governance) measures can help to manage ecological and social impacts and steer them in a sustainable and ethical direction.
E = Environmental objectives
>> In our ongoing journey towards sustainability and environmental protection, we set ambitious goals and measure our progress using clearly defined key performance indicators (KPIs). The entire group strives to significantly reduce CO2 emissions per employee, for example. To this end, we are increasingly focusing on the use of renewable energies. By increasing the share of renewable energies in our total energy consumption at our sites, we want to actively contribute to reducing our ecological footprint.
>> In addition, we promote sustainable mobility by integrating electric vehicles into our vehicle fleet and measure our success based on the number of these vehicles and the car costs per employee.
>> In addition to the mode of transport, the organisation of working time is also an important aspect of sustainable working practices. Flexible working time models, ranging from remote work to part-time and flexitime, enable our employees to adapt their work to their individual needs. This not only increases employee satisfaction and productivity, but also helps to reduce traffic volume and thus the impact on the environment.
S = Social goals
>> Both catworkx and the TIMETOACT GROUP are committed to the well-being of our employees and to promoting an inclusive corporate culture. To ensure that our health services meet the needs of our workforce, we closely monitor the number of users of these services.
>> As part of mental health coaching, the group also offers support on professional, family, health and personal issues through expert advice and concrete help from qualified consultants at the Fürstenberg Institute. The TIMETOACT GROUP offers all employees and their family members free, short-term and anonymous individual counselling sessions.
>> In addition, the Group offers numerous opportunities to stay fit and healthy. For example, with a subsidy for the gym (Urban Sports Club). Here, you can choose flexibly and individually from a wide range of sports activities throughout Germany. In addition, digital online nutrition challenges are offered, including valuable knowledge impulses and practical tips on healthy eating, recipe videos and exciting information on sustainability.
G = Governance objectives
>> We take our responsibility seriously and are actively committed to various areas. This includes regular service provider evaluations to ensure that we work with trustworthy partners.
>> Transparency is a core value of our corporate culture. We therefore publish information on the ESG measures we have implemented and make relevant information available on the intranet to ensure that our employees are always informed about our activities.
